Aubergines layered with a homemade tomato sauce, fresh basil and mozzarella

Fish Pie
Poached Salmon, Cod & Haddock mixed with a Creamy White Sauce, Prawns and Boiled Egg.  Topped with Creamy Mashed Potato.

Coq au vin
Classic French cuisine.

Slow Roast Leg of Lamb
Marinated eight hour roasted English Leg of Lamb. Served with a homemade Mint Sauce. (you can have a classic red wine and garlic marinade or a garlic, chilli marinade)

Thai Red Vegetable Curry v
A selection of root vegetables and brassicas cooked in a delicate aromatic yet feisty sauce

Anti pasti
Wood boards filled with a variety of Italian meats and cheeses. Along with Grilled Aubergines, Pepper and Courgettes. Served with Olives, homemade foccacia olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

Chicken with Watercress Sauce
Poached Chicken with a creamy, peppery watercress sauce.

Poached and Dressed Whole Scottish Salmon
Speaks for itself! A classic whole salmon dressed with cucumber, prawns and quail eggs

Salmon and Shellfish Tagliatelle
Served with a creamy white wine and tarragon sauce

Cold Meat Platter
Roasted rare beef, baked ham & turkey crown, sliced at the table served with a variety of condiments.

Nicoise Salad
Lettuce, Tomatoes, Cucumber, French Beans, New Potatoes, Boiled Eggs & Olives dressed with a classic French dressing

Tricolour Salad with Pesto Dressing
Avocado, Tomatoes, Sun-dried Tomatoes, Yellow Peppers, Fresh Basil  with a home made Pesto dressing

Green Salad
Little Gem Lettuce, Green beans, Cucumber, Celery, Avocado, Green Pepper, Courgettes and Fresh Herbs

Beetroot & Edamame Bean Salad
Thinly sliced beetroot, with Edamame beans (soya beans) with avocado, little gem lettuce, fresh herbs, and red onions, dressed with a chilli (mild) dressing

You may want a starter or canapés to start the evening.  If so check out canapés and the starter selection on the dinner party page. Our Hot Buffet can consist of as many meat, fish and vegetarian dishes as you like.  I would suggest a couple of meat dishes, one fish dish, and a vegetarian. Along with the main dishes you can have hot potatoes and a choice of three salads. 

Then to dessert!

  • Eton Mess. Whipped double cream with blended red fruits and meringues
  • White Chocolate & Mascarpone trifle with raspberries
  • Summer Berry and Vodka Jelly (served in shot glasses)
  • Chocolate & Apple & Clementine Jam Bread & Butter Pudding. Made with Brioche and Mexican Vanilla
  • Rhubarb & Apple Bread & Butter Pudding made with Brioche
  • Soft Winter/Summer Berry Traditional Trifle: Custard mixed with Mascarpone and topped with Double cream and Berries.

Served with Cream, Custard, or Ice-cream
